Will the margin do my homework for me?
No. The margin points to the step that needs another look and asks you a question. It gives hints, never the finished answer. How the margin protects learning.
Which devices does it work on?
iPad, Android tablets and phones, Windows, Mac and iPhone, with support for Apple Pencil, S Pen, Surface Pen and Wacom. On the web you can view every notebook and edit typed notes.
Can I draw on the web?
No. Writing with a pen needs the speed of a native app, so on the web your handwritten pages are view-only. You can still read, search, study and type there.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Everything you write is saved on your device first, and syncs when you are back online.
Can I bring my notes from GoodNotes or Notability?
Yes. Export your notebooks as PDFs and import them into BetterNotes, where you can keep writing on them. Step-by-step guides.
