Which devices can I use?
iPad, Android tablets and phones, Windows, Mac and iPhone, plus the web for viewing and typing. See all devices.
Which pens work?
Apple Pencil, S Pen and other active Android pens, Surface Pen and other Windows Ink pens, and Wacom tablets.
Can I use a keyboard?
Yes. Typed blocks sit on the same page as handwriting, and there is a full document mode.

Sync and your notes
Is sync free?
Yes, on every plan and every device.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything is saved on your device first and syncs when you are back online.
I deleted something by mistake.
Deleted notebooks stay in the Trash for 60 days, and version history can rewind any page.
How do I export my notes?
From any notebook, export as PDF. You can export your whole library from Settings, on any plan.

How do I bring notes from GoodNotes or Notability?
Export your notebooks as PDFs from your old app and import them into BetterNotes. You can keep writing on every page.

Yes, per notebook or everywhere.

Flag it from the note itself. It helps us improve, and the margin will never insist.
