The web app will use cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your account secure. These are required for the app to work.
Visit counts (no cookies)
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read and roughly which countries visitors come from. It sets no cookies, doesn’t follow you across sites and doesn’t build a profile of you.
Optional analytics
The website can also use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand which pages help students. It stays off unless you choose “Allow” in the cookie prompt; until then nothing from Google loads. Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can change it any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. It never runs inside the web app or on your notes.
Advertising
None. BetterNotes does not use advertising cookies.
Fonts
Our fonts are hosted with the site itself, so no third-party font service sees your visit.
